Pickup & Fulfilment Policy

PICKUP & FULFILMENT POLICY

Last Updated: June 2026

1. Overview

Looper is a food-surplus marketplace designed to reduce food waste by helping vendors sell excess inventory to customers.

Looper primarily operates using a customer pickup model.

Looper is not a fulfilment centre and does not physically store, package, or distribute products.

2. Order Confirmation

An order becomes confirmed only after:

  • Successful payment processing.
  • Vendor acceptance where applicable.
  • Generation of an order confirmation within the Platform.

Customers will receive an electronic order confirmation containing collection details.

3. Pickup Process

Upon successful payment:

  • A unique order reference is generated.
  • Pickup instructions become available within the Platform.
  • Customers must present their order confirmation at the pickup location.

Vendors may request identification where necessary to verify ownership of an order.

4. Pickup Windows

Each listing includes a designated pickup window established by the Vendor.

Customers are responsible for arriving during the specified pickup period.

Failure to arrive during the designated window may result in forfeiture of the order.

Because many products are perishable, Vendors may not be able to retain unclaimed items beyond the pickup period.

5. Product Variability

Looper specializes in surplus inventory.

Customers acknowledge that:

  • Product contents may vary.
  • Quantities may vary.
  • Packaging may differ.
  • Images may be illustrative only.

The exact contents of a surplus package may not be known until fulfilment.

6. Vendor Fulfilment Obligations

Vendors must:

  • Honour confirmed orders.
  • Prepare products in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Make products available during advertised pickup windows.
  • Accurately represent products offered.

Vendors must promptly notify Looper of fulfilment issues.

7. Unavailable Orders

Where a Vendor cannot fulfil a confirmed order due to stock shortages, operational issues, or unforeseen circumstances:

  • The order may be cancelled.
  • The customer may receive a refund in accordance with the Returns & Refund Policy.

8. Delivery Services

Looper currently operates primarily as a pickup platform.

Where delivery services become available:

  • Delivery may be performed by third-party logistics providers.
  • Vendors remain responsible for product preparation and packaging.
  • Delivery providers remain responsible for transportation.

Looper does not guarantee delivery times.

9. Limitation of Responsibility

Looper acts solely as a marketplace facilitator.

Looper is not responsible for:

  • Vendor operational delays.
  • Vendor closures.
  • Traffic conditions.
  • Third-party delivery issues.
  • Events beyond reasonable control.
