This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the standards, responsibilities, and restrictions applicable to all users, vendors, and customers using the Looper platform.
By using Looper, you agree to comply with this Policy.
2. Permitted Products
Approved vendors may list:
- Surplus meals from restaurants, cafés, hotels, and food service businesses.
- Surplus bakery products.
- Grocery items that remain safe for consumption.
- Packaged food products within their legal consumption period.
- Fresh produce suitable for human consumption.
- Food products offered as part of sustainability and waste-reduction initiatives.
All listed products must comply with applicable laws and food safety regulations.
3. Vendor Compliance Requirements
Vendors must maintain all required registrations, permits, and certifications applicable to their business.
Looper may require vendors to provide:
- CAC registration documents.
- Government-issued identification.
- Good Hygiene Practice (GHP) certification where applicable.
- NAFDAC registrations where required.
- SON certifications for packaged or manufactured products.
- Any additional compliance documentation reasonably requested.
Failure to maintain valid documentation may result in account suspension.
4. Prohibited Products
The following products may not be listed or sold through Looper:
Food Safety Violations
- Expired food products.
- Spoiled or contaminated food.
- Food stored outside required temperature conditions.
- Food deemed unsafe for human consumption.
Restricted Products
- Illegally produced alcoholic beverages.
- Unlicensed alcoholic products.
- Tobacco products.
- Prescription medications.
- Controlled substances.
- Illegal drugs.
- Hazardous materials.
- Counterfeit goods.
Non-Food Products
Unless specifically approved by Looper:
- Electronics.
- Clothing.
- Firearms or weapons.
- Adult products.
- Financial products.
- Cryptocurrency services.
5. Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors are solely responsible for:
- Product quality.
- Food safety.
- Product descriptions.
- Allergy disclosures.
- Ingredient information where applicable.
- Compliance with food regulations.
- Order fulfilment.
Vendors must immediately remove any listing that becomes unavailable.
6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate information.
- Arrive during designated pickup windows.
- Inspect items upon collection where reasonably possible.
- Report disputes honestly and promptly.
- Refrain from fraudulent refund requests.
7. Prohibited Platform Activities
Users may not:
- Circumvent Looper's payment systems.
- Arrange off-platform transactions.
- Manipulate reviews or ratings.
- Create fake accounts.
- Upload malicious software.
- Attempt unauthorized system access.
- Engage in fraud.
- Abuse other users.
- Harass vendors or customers.
8. Enforcement
Looper reserves the right to:
- Remove listings.
- Suspend accounts.
- Permanently terminate accounts.
- Withhold payouts during investigations.
- Report unlawful activity to relevant authorities.
These actions may be taken without prior notice where necessary to protect users or the platform.
9. Policy Updates
Looper may amend this Policy from time to time.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any updated version.
